The Adventure

Namibia is not like anywhere else in Africa. Windhoek to Kasane (Botswana) — a full traverse of one of Africa's most dramatic countries. Desert to river: dunes, coast, ancient landscapes, wildlife-rich parks, and the Caprivi Strip. Guided self-drive in your own Toyota Hilux 4x4 — you drive, the guides lead. Namibia is a country of staggering scale — where the oldest desert on earth meets a wild Atlantic coastline, where desert elephants walk ancient riverbeds and lion patrol salt pans the size of small countries.
